James “SugEasy” Singleton is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, artist, and advocate for the positivity represented by true Hip Hop Culture. By elementary school, he began winning Hip Hop competitions and has competed locally and nationally ever since. James began teaching at the age of fifteen, focusing on Hip Hop history and the positive impact on young peoples’ lives. Royce Handy and Kartez Addison are a part of ‘We Are R.A.P.’ an education program that develops urban youth via Hip-Hop. By using the art form of rap, technology, and entrepreneurship, it shows high school aged youth several career opportunities in the music industry while providing a platform for their voice and worldview.
