Maria Vasquez Boyd exhibits paintings and illustrations across the country including murals in Mexico. She is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute where she returned to teach in the Design and Illustration Department. Maria taught at the Nelson Atkins Museum and worked for Hallmark Cards. She serves as producer and host of special programming on KKFI 90.1 fm community radio and is Poet In Residence for Present Magazine. Maria is a founding member of the Latino Writers Collective in Kansas City Missouri. where she continues to write and publish her work.
