Andrea Skowronek of City In Motion & Nichole Raab of Voler Aerial
Andrea Skowronek has been the Artistic Co-Director of City in Motion since 1995. Before that, she performed in Paris, France with Free Dance Song. In addition to City in Motion she has taught at UMKC, Kansas State, St. Mary Academy, Motion 41 Dance Summer Intensive and Dance and the Child International Gathering. Her choreography has been featured at the Kansas Dance Festival, St. Louis’s Dance Festival and the United World College in New Mexico. A goal of Andrea’s is increasing City in Motion’s audience and collaborations as it moves to the Westport Commons this month. http://www.cityinmotion.org/

Nichole Raab is a founding member of Kansas City’s Premier Aerial Performance Ensemble – Voler – Thieves of Flight, which is just one of the unusual paths she has created for herself. She is a performer, event entertainer, instructor, choreographer, and shipmate. Nichole has performed aerial stunts from the mast of the ‘Tall Ship’, sailing into new ports, while teaching and performing. She has also performed for a long list of celebrities on private islands as an artist in residence. A goal of hers is to a acquire funds for her ‘Tall Ship Sloop Providence’ project.http://nicholeraab.com/ // http://
