José Faus is an artist, writer and poet, plus is an Artist INC facilitator. His murals are throughout Kansas City; as well as in Mexico and Bolivia, for which he received a cultural ambassador grant from the U. S. State Department. Jose’s writings have been featured in a number of publications and in 2011 he received a New York City literary award. He is a founding member of Kansas City’s Latino Writers Collective. Jose’s art is currently featured in a GUILDit exhibit at Johnson County Central Library.

Luis Garcia launched Hecho KC so to create more revenue as an artist. The businesses complements him being a freelance designer, an adjunct professor at Metropolitan Community College, a GUILDit Facilitator, and an actor. For now, there are 5 streams of revenue at Hecho KC. The business is distinct because its Art & Home Decor are made from cultural roots.
