UMKC professor Adrienne Walker Hoard’s award-winning photographs have been viewed in the Berlin Biennale. Also, her paintings have been exhibited in France and Italy. Plus, she has taught at universities in South Korea and South Africa. Adrienne is the founder of Homegirl Inc, which produces a variety of handmade products, including original paintings, and monoprints, semi-precious gemstone jewelry, and hand-dyed scarves. Items are retailed through boutiques, online, and by appointment. Homegirl also offers children art education and consults with museums, galleries and other arts organizations.
