Artist Dylan Mortimer, Talks 2/4 @ Kauffman FDN
Dylan has created public art installations in various states including New York, Chicago, and Washington. A few of his exhibiting host are Columbia University, PS 122 Gallery in New York, and Leedy-Voulkos. He has been voted Kansas City’s Best Artist by The Pitch. Plus he is a recipient of the Charlotte St. Award, ArtsKC Fund Inspiration Grant, and Avenue of the Arts. He graduated with a BFA from KCAI and a MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Dylan’s art is influenced by his religious upbringing, is edgy and electrifying. Hear about his plans for 2016 from 12-1pm on Thursday, 2/4 at the Kauffman Foundation.
